When we begin to bring our natural creativity into our business, the idea of being inspired always comes up, but what is inspiration? Many people have an idea that it is this mysterious thing that you must wait for and that only a select few can have. This is not the case at all. We can and should be responsible for our own inspiration. It comes from us and we can control it.
You can motivate as well as force yourself to scrub the spots out of your carpet. However, that does not mean you will enjoy what you have just accomplished. In fact, you will do everything in you power to prevent future spots.
If what you want to achieve is important to you and you don’t feel motivated, just do it anyway without feeling motivated! Make the decision to do it. Yes this might take an act of will, discipline and determination. Yes it might be unpleasant, require a commitment and you might even have to give up something else. Yet you do it because you know the end result, your goal and that is more important than whether you feel motivated or not. The problem is that most people focus on what they have to give up rather than focussing on the long term gain.
A discussion of motivation and Follow and like my page is not complete without a mention of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Psychologist Maslow wrote a paper in 1934 titled ‘A Theory of Human Motivation’. In this paper, he gave his opinion on what he thought motivates human behaviour. The lowest motivation for human conduct is a desire to acquire some creature comforts. You are at this level if you are struggling to get by. Those at the highest levels of human motivation seek to self-actualize. They live for higher things, believed in higher ideals, and move for higher reasons motivated by the highest human thoughts.
Do not look for reward, they will come – though rewards are always attached to labor, you look to the labor part of the job. Unselfish labor reaps the biggest rewards in regards to motivation.

There’s no limit to how happy you can be! Just go out there and be your very best you! Your happiness will in turn motivate those around you so it’s really win-win!
