Blogs Vs Content Sites

Web logs at their core are simply online message forums with the most recent message postings at the top of the page. Blogging has erupted in popularity in the last 10 years, and blogs focus literally on anything (and everything) someone (or anyone) has an opinion on. First of all, the search engines love blogs. Google knows people love online blogs because they’re constantly updated with fresh new content. So they give them great rankings in the search engines. That means you get tons of visitors to your blog without having to pay for advertising.

This I have no need to be picked up by web search engines, and just pass out the URL to my kids and close friends. Which is another way to use blogs.

After each successful post you need to ping your blog. This will help your blog get a high page rank in the search engines. You need to follow this method every time you go for a new blog post. I know that it sounds boring but then it is believed to be an ideal approach through which you can make money through your online internet blogs.

The mighty Splog – This is a “dirty” blog, and most people don’t like splogs. A Splog is a blog that is built by someone that takes other people’s content from their site without permission and put it on their site, they then turn around and put their ads all over the site. Besides just being downright rude, it actually does hurt people like you and I that strive to provide original content.
